Day it Forward

More than one blog post a month?! Who'd'a thunk it? Haha. My friend has been working so diligently on her blog recently and it inspired me to post more. So, here goes it!

Back in November of 2016 I was chosen by Sylvia Day for her Day it Forward of the month. In case you aren't familiar with it, Sylvia chooses a charity or orginization from the ones submitted and makes a donation to them! Now, if you know me in person (or even just on social media) you know that I'm OBSESSED with red pandas. Every year I go to the Henry Vilas Zoo for their International Red Panda Day celebration, and have been going for a very long time. Red Panda conservation is near and dear to my heart. So, I thought, what have I got to lose? I submitted it and I got an email later that I was chosen!

Now... I won't lie... I cried. Like Sylvia Day had seen my name! She had chosen my submission! I know it had nothing to do with my actual writing, but, just to know that my favorite author had like seen my name was enough to get the waterworks going, haha.
